A treasure trove of weathered antiques and curio staged in a dramatic space. Even if you don’t buy anything here, it’s definitely worth a browse. Just pretend like you’re walking through an art gallery in France.

One of our favorite antique shops in the area. Filled with reasonably priced vintage finds. You won’t walk away empty handed. As a bonus, there are some really good hole in the wall Mexican restaurants diagonally across the street.

River Gallery
Right around the corner from Maison Bergogne, this well stocked antique shop has high-end American and Asian antiques, local art, gifts for the home, custom framing and cooking and body products.

Swoon over the stunning collection of unique mid-century pieces at this excellent shop right on Main Street in Livingston Manor. Stop by Neon Croissant right across the street for a treat after.

Charming little country store with knickknacks, with a cut flower garden right outside. Find a cute vase inside and fill it with flowers from outside.

The Outside Institute
The Outside Institute opened its first outpost in 2023. Located on Lower Main in Callicoon, the space houses a highly curated shop in front, featuring nature-inspired books, jewelry, art, apothecary and all manner of gear and provisions for naturalists, and room in the back for classes and workshops on everything from natural dyeing to botanical mixology. Lovingly restored historic country store after 48 years of sitting dormant. Shop for local honey, jams, British & Swedish pantry goods, kitchen supplies, linens, old fashioned candies, and local produce. This is a MUST visit for anyone in the area.
